Workshop Title: Advances in Smart Systems for Real-World Applications

Workshop Description: This workshop provides an interdisciplinary platform to explore the rising role of artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms in the modeling, simulation, and optimization of intelligent systems. As AI continues to transform diverse sectors—from smart cities and energy grids to industrial automation and digital healthcare, there is a growing need to bridge theoretical advances in AI with practical modeling strategies rooted in applied mathematics and systems engineering. The goal of this workshop is to discuss how data-driven and model-based approaches can work together to build reliable, interpretable, and scalable smart systems. The workshop will bring together researchers and practitioners from AI, applied mathematics, and engineering to present recent advances, discuss ongoing challenges, and explore opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration. By connecting the expertise of researchers in modelling approaches, AI, machine learning, sustainable solutions, and intelligent applications, this workshop supports the broader goals of ICAISE 2025 in advancing smart, sustainable, and adaptive technologies.
